When the makers of Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Vidya Balan, and Tripti Dimri starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 released the film’s trailer, the sequence that became the talk of the town was the dance battle between the characters of Manjulika. On Friday, the makers dropped a less than two-minute music video of the much anticipated track – Aami Je Tomar 3.0 amidst a lot of fanfare in Mumbai’s Royal Opera House. Both Madhuri and Vidya performed to the tunes of the song live to unveil the song.
Even though the video features a few glimpses of the dance face-off between the OG Manjulika (Vidya) and the new addition to the franchise (Madhuri), it has already sent the fans of both the iconic actresses in a frenzy. In the video, the actresses can be seen performing in a royal courtroom, trying to appease the king and his subjects. The makers purposely did not release the full video of the song so that the audience can experience its magic in theatres upon the film’s release.

Aami Je Tomar 3.0 is a reprised version of Mere Dholna Sun song from the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya and Shiney Ahuja among others. Shreya Ghoshal, who sang the original song, has once again lent her mellifluous vocals to the 3.0 version. The lyrics for the song have been penned by Sameer while its music has been reprised by Amaal Mallik.
At the launch event of the song, Kartik Aaryan revealed that initially, even though the song was a part of the film, but it wasn’t meant to be a face-off between the two legendary actresses. During subsequent narrations, the thought of a dance-off between Madhuri and Vidya kept on appearing which eventually led to its inclusion in the film.
