
Shah Rukh Khan starring King marks the most anticipated release of this year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller film also stars Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles, with Suhana Khan in her theatrical debut. After the fiery title reveal teaser, the makers have now unveiled the release date with an announcement video.

The latest video begins with a quote that says, “It’s time to roar and end the year with fear.” SRK appears injured, with his clothes half torn. He roars from the top of his lungs, standing on the top of a snowy mountain at a picturesque location. After that, the official release date of the movie flashes on the screen. Moving on, King Khan breaks the glass roof to enter a room and says, “Darr Nahi Dehshat Hu,” as he punches someone in the face.

The cast of King
Alongside SRK, Deepika, Abhishek and Suhana, the ensemble cast of the film also has Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, Saurabh Shukla and Jaideep Ahlawat with S. J. Suryah and Karanvir Malhotra.
The title reveal video for King sent fans into a frenzy when it was revealed in November 2025. But, interestingly, the makers have not unveiled any major character from the anticipated movie until now, apart from the titular actor. The admirers are eagerly awaiting seeing Suhana’s appearance in the movie, along with many senior actors.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Sujoy Ghosh writes the story, and both have written the screenplay alongside Suresh Nair and Sagar Pandya. Bankrolled under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is set to hit cinemas during Christmas on December 24, 2026.
