Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri starrer O’ Romeo is amongst the most anticipated movies of the year. After teasing the first look poster of Shahid on Friday, the makers of the film have finally unveiled its teaser, giving glimpses into the characters of its stunning ensemble cast.
From the one-minute 35-second-long teaser, it’s evident that the film is going to be an intense tale of love, loss, and revenge. The movie seems to be high on action and emotions, peppered with lots of passion, drama, and violence. While Shahid Kapoor’s full-body tattoo catches your eye, Avinash Tiwary’s never-seen-before brute avatar will surely become a talking point.
We’ve previously seen our heroes and villains using cuss words onscreen numerous times, but witnessing veteran actor Farida Jalal casually using expletives in a single line was definitely not on our 2026 bingo list. While not much is revealed about the characters played by the remaining cast members, the teaser does suck you in into the world created by Vishal Bhardwaj.

The film also reunites Shahid Kapoor with ace director Vishal Bhardwaj after about nine years since their last outing, Rangoon in 2017, which also starred Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. After Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon, O’ Romeo marks the fourth collaboration between the actor and director. Said to be inspired by true events, O’ Romeo is touted to be a passionate tale of unrequited love and explores themes like rejection, loss, and vengeance in love.
The film additionally stars Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani, Aruna Irani, and Tamannaah Bhatia in significant roles and is set for release in theatres on February 13, 2026.
