Mardaani 3, starring Rani Mukerji, is one of the highly anticipated films of the year, and the makers have finally unveiled the much-awaited official trailer. After Pradeep Sarkar (Mardaani) and Gopi Puthran (Mardaani 2), director Abhiraj Minawala is taking charge of the third instalment of this action thriller franchise. The upcoming movie also has Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in crucial roles.

The latest trailer begins by establishing the crime and the criminal that Shivani Shivaji Roy (Mukerji) is set to solve and apprehend, respectively. A total of 93 young girls go missing from all over India around the same time, and the police appear to have no clue about the reason or organisation behind it. The official video sees how a woman called Amma (Prasad) is heading the mafia that picks up young children to set a network to make them beg and do other illegal work. Furthermore, the trailer also reveals that the lethal female antagonist and her syndicate plan to do something even more evil with the set of young girls.
The official Instagram handle of Yash Raj Films dropped the latest official video with a fiery caption that explains that DCP Roy is racing against time to rescue the young girls who go missing without a trace.

Ahead of the trailer release, YRF also shared a poster of the movie on its social media handle featuring Mukerji, who is seen fiercely sitting with a gun in her hand. Meanwhile, the missing young girls appear scared and helpless, standing behind her. The caption reads, “She won’t stop, until she rescues them all! #RaniMukerji is back as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in #Mardaani3. Rescue begins in cinemas near you on 30th Jan. (sic)”

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the much-awaited movie is written by Aayush Gupta with Deepak Kingrani and Baljeet Singh Marwah. Backed by Yash Raj Films, Mardaani 3 is slated to hit theatres on January 30.
