XO, Kitty season 2 is the most awaited teen drama series on Netflix. Based on the characters from Jenny Han’s To All the Boys book series, the upcoming OTT show stars Anna Cathcart as the titular character alongside the South Korean actors, Sang Heon Lee, Choi Min-young and Gia Kim.

The upcoming series talks about Kitty Song Covey, who wants to explore her high school years in South Korea like her deceased mother and find true love. XO, Kitty follows the story of the youngest Covey sister and takes place after the events of the To All the Boys trilogy, which stars Lana Condor as the middle sister Lara Jean Song Covey, along with Noah Centineo.

The official trailer of the upcoming sequel gives a glimpse of the new challenges that Kitty faces being an outsider. She also finds herself stuck between old flames and new muse. While the last semester (season 1) ends with a lot of drama, Kitty decides to keep herself focused on her studies and important activities this time. However, she appears to have a hard time trying to manage everything at once. As soon as she finds herself alone and distressed, she meets her best buddy and her sister’s boyfriend Peter Kavinsky (Noah).

Alongside Anna in the titular role and Noah in the cameo appearance with Sang Heon Lee, Choi Min-young and Gia Kim as pivotal characters, the much-awaited OTT show also features Minyeong Choi, Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, and Jocelyn Shelfo in key roles. Writer-filmmaker Jenny Han has created and co-produced the upcoming series with Sascha Rothchild and Matt Kaplan under the banner of Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment. XO, Kitty Season 2 is all set to release on Netflix on January 16, 2025.
