The Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde starrer Deva is the highly awaited movie of this month. After a power-packed official teaser, the makers have dropped the first track from the film. The song titled Bhasad Macha is composed by Vishal Mishra, who has also crooned it alongside Mika Singh and Jyotica Tangri. Meanwhile, Jakes Bejoy provided the score for the latest single.

Released on Saturday, January 11, Bhasad Macha has been creating a huge buzz among fans. The video witnesses Shahid and Pooja tapping their foot together with a huge crowd at a wedding function. The visuals are all about fun and celebration. Choreographed by Bosco Leslie Martis, the actors’ fun-packed moves and the peppy music of the track are a classic reminder of the Dhating Naach song from Phata Poster Nikhla Hero starring Shahid himself. The visuals also showcase a few key characters of the anticipated film including Pravesh Rana.
Along with the makers, the star himself took to his official Instagram handle and announced the arrival of his latest track to his fans. Shahid shared the full video on the social media platform with a quirky caption that reads, “Aag lagegi, Bhasad machega. Aala re aala, #DEVA AALA Song out now! #Deva releasing in cinemas on 31st January (sic).”
