The makers of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming action entertainer Baby John treated his fans with the film’s trailer on Monday evening. After piquing the interest of the viewers with the one minute 58 seconds long taster cut (teaser), the song Nain Matakka and Pickly Pom, the trailer of the film has left quite an impression on not just the actor’s fans, but also the Badshah of Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan heaps praises on Baby John trailer
Soon after the film’s trailer was launched, Shah Rukh Khan took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to laud the cast and crew of the film. Calling it an “exciting trailer”, Shah Rukh shared that he’s “really looking forward” to watching the movie. He mentioned the director Kalees and wrote that the film looks quite energetic and “full of action”. He also gave a shoutout to the producer Atlee, who’d directed his 2023 blockbuster Jawan.
Furthermore, SRK was all praises for Varun. The Pathaan actor mentioned that he’s “so happy” to see Varun in a new, “all tough” avatar. Jackie Shroff, who plays the antagonist in the film, is also seen in a never-seen-before character in the trailer. Shah Rukh wrote, “Deadly u look Jaggu da…” and gave his best wishes to Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Check out his tweet here:

Watch Baby John trailer feat. Salman Khan
The trailer of Baby John looks quite intriguing. The three-minute-seven-seconds long trailer of the film offers insights into Varun’s character, and his deeply affectionate relationship with his daughter. We also get to see him as a police officer, while Sanya Malhotra and Wamiqa Gabbi too make an appearance along with Keerthy Suresh.

Apart from Varun’s impressive gravity-defying action scenes, it is Jackie Shroff who has managed to make heads turn as the main antagonist. By the time the trailer ends, it is clear that Varun’s Baby John will stop at nothing when it comes to protecting his daughter. The film also seems to be touching upon the problem of women’s safety that is one of the biggest concerns today – as is clearly hinted upon in the trailer.
