The makers of Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John unveiled the film’s teaser (or Taster Cut as they’re referring to it), on social media on Monday. However, it was already playing in theatres since November 1, when two of the biggest movies of the year – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again – clashed in the theatres.
Even though, some cine goers recorded the teaser video and began circulating it on social media platforms, the video still managed to create enough curiosity when it was officially dropped on November 4 and managed to cross over 150 million views in just a matter of 24 hours. The two-minute long teaser gives us enough glimpses of Varun in a never-seen-before action-packed avatar.

While the action sequences surely to impress, along with Varun’s portrayal of a cop as well as the single father of a young girl. The actor can be seen sporting a rugged look with longish hair making him seem fearless brute. Going by the teaser, an impressive background score by Thaman S, especially in the action scenes, is certainly going to be one of the highlights of the film.
The teaser also gives a few glimpses of Jackie Shroff as the antagonist who looks almost unrecognisable and quite formidable in his character. Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh also appear in the teaser but not much has been revealed about their respective characters in the teaser video. Rajpal Yadav too will be seen as part of the film.
As per reports, Salman Khan is likely to appear in a cameo in Baby John which has been directed by A Kaleeswaran and presented by Jawan director Atlee. The film is slated to hit the theatres on December 25 this year. Meanwhile, Varun is also making his OTT series debut with Amazon Prime Video’s Citadel – Honey Bunny, in which he co-stars with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Helmed by Raj & DK, Citadel – Honey Bunny will be available to stream on Prime Video from November 7.
