After treating the audience with the power-packed action avatar of Varun Dhawan in Baby John teaser, the makers of the film dropped the song Nain Matakka on November 25, 2024. While we’re still grooving to the beats of the upbeat dance number, on Wednesday, Varun took to his social media pages to share some behind-the-scenes pictures featuring Keerthy Suresh, Diljit Dosanjh, Thaman S, and Atlee.
Behind-the-scenes of Nain Matakka shoot
Taking to his Instagram page, Varun shared five BTS images in a post and captioned it writing, “#nainmatakka crazy energy on this set.” He further asked his fans if they’re doing the hook step of the song. Varun and Keerthy can be seen having a gala time along with Diljit and Thaman S on the sets of the song shoot. In one of the stills, Varun and Keerthy can be seen with Jawan director Atlee, who is also presenting Baby John along with Jio Studios.

Baby John song Nain Matakka
The song Nain Matakka begins with a couple of shots of Keerthy Suresh, followed by visuals of Varun’s energetic dance moves. The duo then come together and set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry and infectious energy. This is the first time that Varun and Keerthy are seen sharing the screen space and boy! We are loving this fresh pair. Diljit too joins them shortly after. Composed by Tamil film Enemy‘s viral song Tum Tum fame composer Thaman S, Nain Matakka has been crooned by Diljit and Dhee, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Thaman S too makes a special appearance in the visuals of the song.

About Baby John
Directed by Kalees, Baby John is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Tamil film titled Theri, originally helmed by Atlee. The film revolves around DCP Satya (aka Baby John) who fakes his death post a tragic event, in order to look after his daughter and raise her peacefully. However, his peaceful family time is disrupted with the entry of his nemesis Babbar Sher (played by Jackie Shroff). The crux of the film revolves around how Satya goes all out to do everything in his power to protect his daughter.

Apart from Varun, Keerthy and Jackie, the film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Rajpal Yadav. It marks Keerthy’s debut in Hindi cinema and is slated to hit the theatres on December 25, 2024.
