Metro… In Dino marks the most anticipated multistarrer musical drama in Bollywood this year. Written and directed by Anurag Basu, the upcoming movie features a talented ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher, among others. After a few romantic songs, the makers have dropped a lyrical version of yet another soulful track titled Mann Ye Mera.

Composed by Pritam, the latest song is penned by Neelesh Misra and crooned by Vishal Mishra. While Metro… In Dino deals with multiple emotions such as attachment, loss, heartbreak and more, the latest single serves as a feel-good track and showcases the magic of being in love. The lyrical video sees Ali playing a guitar and singing Mann Ye Mera at a cafe, while his love interest, played by Fatima Sana Shaikh, gazes at him lovingly from outside. The new video also features Pankaj, Neena, Konkona, Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur in various montages.

Anurag Basu remembers legendary singer KK
A few weeks ago, during the official trailer launch of Metro… In Dino, Anurag expressed his gratitude after receiving a warm response to the film’s first released song, Zamaana Lage. The filmmaker also grew emotional in front of his peers and the media, and mentioned how he misses the late singer KK. “His voice and Pritam’s melodies had a magic—KK always elevated the tune. It’s not only about Life in a… Metro, KK has sung in all my films. Of course, I miss him. We all do,” he added.

Metro… In Dino release date
Written and directed by Anurag Basu, the upcoming film is produced under the banners of T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions. Along with the lead actors, the much-awaited movie also features Saswata Chatterjee, Rohan Gurbaxani and Kush Jotwani in key roles. Metro… In Dino, which marks the spirited sequel of Life in a… Metro (2007), is all set to hit theatres on July 4, 2025.
