After making their acting debut on OTT, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and late Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor are all set for their debut on the silver screens with their upcoming rom-com Loveyapa. The makers of the quirky and youthful film unveiled its trailer on Friday, giving us glimpses of what the film will be about.
What is Loveyapa about?
Set on an interesting premise, the trailer begins with introducing us to Gaurav (played by Junaid) and Baani (essayed by Khushi) who are dating each other. When Gaurav meets Baani’s father (Ashutosh Rana) with the prospect of marrying her, he makes an unusual demand that sets their seemingly perfect world upside down. He asks them to exchange their phones for a day, implying that the call on their wedding will be taken only after this task is completed.
The rest of the trailer gives us glimpses of the various hidden secrets, past affairs, and unknown truths that start coming to the fore, leading to a lot of misunderstandings, chaos and confusions in the lives of the lovebirds. The tonality of the film seems to be quite fun, quirky, and light-hearted. At the same time, it appears to shine light on modern-day relationships amidst the pros and cons of technology.
