Looks like a huge clash at the box office has been averted. Vicky Kaushal lead historical period drama Chhaava had locked December 6, 2024 as its theatrical release date. However, according to an earlier report by MidDay, speculations were rife that the makers of Chhaava are considering an alternate release date of the film, in order to avoid a possible clash with Allu Arjun starrer much awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise.
Turns out the speculations were true after all since Laxman Utekar directed Chhaava has now been pushed to 2025 and a new release date has been locked. The film is now slated to hit the theatres on February 14, averting a big battle at the ticket windows, since Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set for a pan-India release on December 5, 2024. Chhaava‘s new release date bears a special importance since it precedes Chhatrapati Shivani Maharaj Jayanti that falls on February 19.
