India’s first superhero is back! Mukesh Khanna recently announced the return of his marvellous character on the screen, but there’s a catch. In a recent social media post the veteran actor shared a poster of himself wearing the iconic costume of Shaktimaan with a quote that said, “Arriving soon.” However, the teaser video which was released on a YouTube channel conveyed that the OG Indian superhero is set to reconnect with the new generation with a new idea.
Mukesh teased his fans with an image of himself sporting the OG costume of Shaktimaan with an interesting caption on Instagram that stated, “It’s Time For HIM to RETURN. Our First Indian SUPER TEACHER- SUPER HERO. YES ! As Darkness And Evil prevails over Children of Today… Its time for him to return. He returns with a Message . He returns with a Teaching. For today’s generation. Welcome Him. With both hands !!!!! Watch now teaser only on Bheeshm International YouTube channel. (sic).”

Meanwhile, on a YouTube channel called Bheeshm International, a teaser video was also released that saw the actor spinning like Shaktimaan inside a school. Furthermore, he appeared to sing a patriotic song and appreciate our freedom fighters.

On the other hand, Mukesh has recently appeared in a few ads reviving Shaktimaan and teaching adults as well as children how they should switch to a better mattress called Gaddaco. He can be seen promoting the product by explaining its features. The video has been shared by the mattress company and the actor on Instagram. The post mentioned, “Ab nukshan nhi h, shena yhi hai Shaktimaan ka Kahna! (sic).”

However, there has been no official announcement about Shaktimaan 2 or any new show or film related to the OG Indian superhero character. But the latest announcements surely created a buzz among the fans.
