Squid Game Season 2 marks the most anticipated Netflix release of the year. Ahead of its arrival, the makers dropped the official teaser of the upcoming show. Along with a selected bunch of original cast, the OTT series is gearing up to be out with a new set of actors. Originally released in 2021, the first installment of the South Korean survival thriller series shocked viewers worldwide.

The latest teaser begins by showcasing how the deadly game is back in town with hundreds of new players including a few old ones. Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-Jae), the last-time champion appears tensed as he makes a comeback in the same dormitory. In the beginning, he subtly tries to warn the new participants to leave the competition. During the ‘Red Light, Green Light’ game, he witnesses multiple people getting killed. After encountering the unfortunate incident again, he openly appeals to everyone to leave the lethal game and save their lives.
He announces that he has already been a part of this deadly game and knows how the competition lures people with a huge winning prize. A few people agree with him and decide to leave the game, while a majority of them appear unbothered by his claims and choose to move ahead in the game.

Along with Lee, the much-awaited show also features Wi Ha-joon, Lee Byung-hun, Gong Yoo, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-Geun, Choi Seung-Hyun and Jo Yu-ri in pivotal roles with Kang Ae-shim, Lee David, Won Ji-an, Park Gyu-young, Kim Si-eun, Oh Dal-Su, Jeon Seok-ho and Lee Jin-Wook. Written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, Squid Game Season 2 is all set to release on Netflix on December 26.
