Somy Ali, who was quite active in Bollywood back in the 90s as an actress, was in a relationship with Salman Khan for about eight years. Reportedly, they broke up after Salman started dating Aishwarya Rai and left the country in 1999. She recently opened up about her abusive relationship with Salman and even compared him with Lawrence Bishnoi.
Why Somy Ali is not on good terms with Salman Khan
During her conversation with IANS, Somy Ali was asked why she’s not on cordial terms with Salman whereas his other ex girlfriends – Sangeeta Bijlani and Katrina Kaif – continue to be friends with him. Responding to the question, Somy shared that it’s because the others were not treated the way she was by Salman.
Somy was quoted as saying by IANS, “Sangeeta and Katrina were not half as badly abused by him as I was.” She stated that Aishwarya Rai was abused very badly by him. “I think he had fractured Aishwarya’s shoulder,” she told the news agency and added that she’s not sure “what he did to Katrina.”
Lawrence Bishnoi is better than Salman
Comparing Salman to Lawrence Bishnoi, Somy stated that she feels Bishnoi is better than him, considering what she had to go through with Salman. The 90s actress and social worker further mentioned the time when Salman’s house-help knocked on the door and pleaded him not to hit her.
Recalling the time when she had an acute back pain and was bedridden because of the abuse, she told the agency that Tabu ended up crying on seeing her condition, but Salman didn’t come to see her.
Reportedly, Somy is working on a book chronicling her past relationship with Salman and everything that she had to go through. She added that except her mother and some of her close friends, nobody else is aware of the trials and tribulations of her relationship with Salman.
