The third installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, helmed by Anees Bazmee, hit the silver screens on November 1, 2024 where it clashed with Rohit Shetty directorial Singham Again. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has Kartik Aaryan reprising his character of Ruhaan aka Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

In addition to Kartik, the film also has Vidya Balan marking her return to the franchise from the OG 2007 film that had Akshay Kumar in the lead. Joining the duo is Madhuri Dixit Nene, Tripti Dimri, and Vijay Raaz. Rajpal Yadav will be seen as Chhota Pandit, Sanjay Mishra plays Bada Pandit while Ashwini Kalsekar plays his wife or Panditayin.

While the film has met with mixed reviews from both the critics as well as the audiences, it has managed to gather good footfalls in the theatres. Even though the film is primarily billed as a horror-comedy, but there are barely any moments that will give you chills down the spine, despite its principal characters screaming on multiple occasions. The comedic gags mostly don’t land, except for a couple of genuinely funny moments in the two hour 40 minute-long film. However, what works in its favour is a surprising reveal in the climax and a dance-off between Vidya and Madhuri’s characters in the film. The visual effects are also top notch.
Where to watch Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on OTT?
In case you decide to give the film a miss in the theatres, you can watch it on Netflix post its theatrical run. While the date of its OTT release hasn’t been revealed yet, it can be expected to begin streaming in two to three months from its release date. Watch this space for more updates on the same.
