After the critically acclaimed Tumbbad, Sohum Shah is all set to bring another thrilling cinematic experience with his upcoming film, Crazxy. After a cryptic teaser video, the highly anticipated official trailer of the movie is finally out. Written and Directed by Girish Kohli, the action-thriller flick is produced by Sohum and others. The actor-filmmaker spoke about the anticipated flick for the first time on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast on YouTube.
Crazxy Trailer
The latest trailer begins by establishing Abhimanyu (Sohum) as an excellent doctor, a highly irresponsible father and a questionable man. He gets an unknown call informing him that his autistic daughter has been kidnapped. The man on the other side of the phone demands a ₹ 5 crore ransom. To save his child, he tries to arrange the money. In the process of doing the right thing for the safety of his offspring, he gets attacked and heavily injured.
The video further sees this dubious person driving from one part of the town to another with a bag full of money. However, not only goons but he gets into trouble with cops as well. Meanwhile, his wife tries to warn him about right and wrong as she thinks he is being bogged down by someone. The trailer is packed with action and thrilling sequences. It appears highly engaging and promises a watch-worthy film.
The makers dropped the trailer with a quirky caption that reads, “A Good Surgeon. A Terrible Father. A Questionable Human Being. Get ready for a #CRAZXY RIDE with Abhimanyu Sood on the worst day of his life. #CRAZXYTRAILER OUT NOW. In Cinemas 28th February, 2025 (sic).”

Crazxy’s Unusual Announcement
Ahead of the release of the trailer, Sohum shared a hysterical announcement video of his upcoming movie featuring the key characters from Tumbbad – ‘Dadi’ and ‘Hastar.’ The actor dropped the clip on his Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, “Hastar aur Dadi wapas aa gaye hain…ek nayi announcement ke saath ! Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phans Gaya Hai Tu is coming soon! Put your notifications on and get ready for final instructions. #Crazxy in cinemas on 28th February, 2025 (sic).”

Crazxy Release Date
Gulzar has written the lyrics of the songs in the film, while the music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Meanwhile, the makers have credited Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Anand Bakshi, The Red Kettle, Manan Bhardwaj, Khullarg x Yeah Proof, Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Osho Jain to be the guest composers. Alongside Sohum, the highly anticipated movie is bankrolled by Mukesh Shah, Amita Suresh Shah and Adesh Prasad with Ankit Jain. The ensemble cast of the film is yet to be out. Crazxy is slated to hit cinemas on February 28, 2025.
