Tere Ishk Mein marks the reunion of Dhanush, Aanand L Rai, and A.R. Rahman for yet another romantic thriller after the 2013 blockbuster hit Raanjhanaa. Meanwhile, the makers have recently introduced Kriti Sanon as the lead actress in the film with a new teaser release. The upcoming movie is slated to have a theatrical release later this year.

After a promo video featuring Dhanush as Shankar, the latest teaser introduces Kriti as the actor’s love interest named Mukti. In the latest igniting video, the actress can be seen in an enigmatic avatar, perfectly embodying the depth, intensity, and complexities of her character. She seems to be in a love-hate relationship with someone as her voice can be heard in the background reciting a few deeply emotional lines. She appears walking in the middle of a riot, holding a gallon of gasoline. After walking a few steps, she pours the liquid on herself, seriously looks into the camera and lights the lighter.
Kriti took to her official Instagram handle and shared the latest teaser in a collaborative post with Dhanush, quoting an interesting caption that reads, “Some love stories are destined to rise from the flames. Witness SHANKAR and MUKTI in #TereIshkMein. From the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa – a story that’s unforgettable. In cinemas 28.11.2025 (sic).”

Release date
The A.R. Rahman musical, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Colour Yellow Production. Written by Himanshu Sharma, the epic love saga is set to go on floors soon. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is yet to be unveiled. Tere Ishk Mein is slated to have a worldwide theatrical release on November 28, 2025, in Hindi and Tamil languages.
