After the massive reception of KGF Chapter 1 and 2, fans of Yash’s Rocky Bhai have been eagerly awaiting an update on KGF: Chapter 3. In a recent interview, Yash confirmed that the third installment of the franchise is definitely happening but the audience may have to wait a little longer for the same.
The post credits scene in KGF: Chapter 2 had clearly hinted that part 3 of the film is in the works. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash was asked about when KGF: Chapter 3 will happen and the actor spilled the beans saying, “KGF 3 will happen for sure, like promised.”
He added that currently he’s focusing on Toxic – helmed by Geetu Mohandas, and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, and Sai Pallavi. Yash shared that he keeps talking about KGF 3 with director Prashanth Neel and that they have an idea about the film but they’ll only do it “once it is the right time.”

The actor further revealed that KGF 3 “is something which really needs all our attention,” given its massive scale, and added, “We don’t want to encash on anything because the audience has given us enough.” Yash also told the publication that they’re going to make the third part in a way that the fans are proud of it since it is a franchise that “people celebrate.” Meanwhile, discussions about the much anticipated film keep taking place with Neel.
On the work front, while Yash is neck deep in work with Toxic and Ramayana, Neel is all set to kickstart his untitled next with Jr NTR. Post that, he has Salaar: Part 2 in the pipeline with Prabhas. Looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to see KGF 3 materialise since both Yash and Neel will be able to begin working on it once they wrap up their existing line-up of projects. Meanwhile, KGF part 1 and 2 are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
