Citadel Honey Bunny marks the highly awaited web series of the year. Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the espionage thriller show is directed by the dynamic duo, Raj & DK. After a few action-packed promo videos, the makers have dropped a new song titled Tufaan.

The latest song is written, composed and performed by the Indie Pop Band, Fiddlecraft. Tufaan opens with an intense conversation between the leading duo. Varun explains to Samantha, how direction in life is a very powerful thing. Furthermore, the actor trains the latter to become a spy and get recruited to his boss’ agency. However, she appears cheating on her partner during an assignment. The video gives a sneak peek into the multiple action-packed sequences of the upcoming series.

Along with the titular duo, the Tufaan song also gives glimpses of the crucial characters in the show, played by Kay Kay Menon, Kashvi Majmundar, Saqib Saleem, Shivankit Parihar, Sohum Mazumdar and Sikander Kher among others.

The Citadel Universe
Citadel: Honey Bunny marks the third series in the Citadel franchise after the Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci starrer Citadel; and the Italian spin-off series named Citadel: Diana featuring Matilda De Angelis in the titular role alongside Lorenzo Cervasio, Thekla Reuten and Julia Piaton. The upcoming show ought to be the prequel of the 2023 outing.
Release date
Apart from directing, Raj & DK have also co-produced the show alongside Syed Zaid Ali, Alek Conic, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo among others. Citadel Honey Bunny, which also features Simran Bagga and Emma Canning in significant roles, is all set to release on Prime Video on November 7.
