Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan is all set to debut as a director for a much-awaited Netflix project. Bankrolled by his mother herself under Red Chillies Production, the upcoming web series is slated for the 2025 release. The OTT platform announced the latest news on Instagram with a special post. A lot of celebrities came in support of the aspiring filmmaker. Surprisingly enough, Kangana Ranaut also shared a post on social media and praised the superstar’s son for his unconventional choice, unlike other star kids.
Netflix took to Instagram and announced their upcoming project with Aryan stating, “This 2025: Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment come together for one-of-a-kind Bollywood series produced by Gari Khan, created and directed by Aryan Khan.” The caption of the social media post reads, “Witness Bollywood like never before… on Netflix! Presenting Aryan Khan’s directorial debut in an all-new series, coming soon! (sic)”

After the official announcement, many celebs including Shah Rukh and Karan Johar congratulated Aryan for his upcoming venture. Meanwhile, Kangana also shared a surprising post on her Instagram account praising the aspiring filmmaker. Mostly known for openly criticising many Bollywood celebrities, the Queen star surprised everyone with her latest statement as she praised Aryan for choosing filmmaking instead of taking an easy way out. “We need more people behind the cameras, good that Aryan Khan is taking the road less travelled. Look forward to his debut as a filmmaker and a writer,” she added.
